What a wonderful time our group had at our recent Linocut workshop.
In this workshop for beginners, we had the task of making Christmas Cards.
We learned about linocut printing by hand with the wonderful printmaker, Jacquie Sullivan. She guided us through the use of the tools of the trade to experiment with carving techniques, application of ink, and printing on paper without a press.
A few of us had a bit of trouble seeing the reversed image in our brain, but we all were thrilled with the images we made.
